WINONA — Ronald Hopkins went to heaven on January 4,2025. He was born March 11, 1939, in Tennessee Colony, TX.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Hopkins. Survivors include his son, Michael Hopkins, son, David Hopkins and daughter-in- law, Stephanie Allred, son, Gene Hopkins and daughter-in-law, Paula Hopkins, sister, Faye Booth and brother-in-law, Don Booth, sister, Francis Vickery, sister-in-law, Barbara Hopkins, as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Ronald was known for his love of fishing and the outdoors. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and pass on his wisdom through storytelling to his kids and grandkids. Ronald and his beloved Anna are now fishing in heaven together where the fish always bite, and the days are endless. He will be missed by family and friends.
There will be a Memorial Fish Fry at the Hopkins Family Home at 19590 FM 2767 Winona, Tx 75792 Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 PM.
