Tyler Transit will have reduced operating hours on Thursday and potentially Friday, the city announced.

The National Weather Service of Shreveport has issued a winter storm warning for the Tyler area until Friday at noon. Rain showers and sleet are expected, with daytime sleet accumulations of less than a half inch possible.

Thursday: Service will end at 6 p.m., and all routes’ last trips will begin at 5 p.m.

Friday: Transit staff will monitor road conditions overnight. If roads are icy, service will start delayed and run at 9 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. All routes’ last trips will begin at 5 p.m.

Paratransit customers who have trips scheduled during non-operating hours will be notified and trips will be rescheduled by dispatchers. If you have any questions, please contact Tyler Transit at (903) 533-8057.
