BULLARD — All nine Guard players scored as Brook Hill opened TAPPS 5-A District 2 girls basketball play with a 74-4 win over Dallas Cristo Rey on Tuesday at Herrington Gym.



Savannah Onley led the Guard (25-5, 1-0) with 18 points, while Zuza Majchrzak added 12 points.

Others scoring for Brook Hill were Remy Tonroy (10), Mylee Booth (8), Landrie Fite (8), Indeya Williams (6), Lila Morris (6), Karmen Miller (4) and Bridget Speerly (2).

Brook Hill (25-5, 1-0) travels to Austin to meet Brentwood Christian on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.

BROWNSBORO 61, ATHENS 20

ATHENS — The Brownsboro Bearettes improved to 16-9 overall and 3-3 in District 15-4A play with a 61-20 win over Athens.

Parmer Fitzgerald scored 12 points to lead a balanced Brownsboro attack. Chyann Stidham had 11 points, Tiykeah McKenzie 10, Sadie Piper eight, Kynsie Daniels seven, Bradie Cooper six, Emma Scott five and Riley Smith two.

Alizjah Davis scored six points in the loss for Athens. Others scoring for the Lady Hornets were Justine Chancellor (5), Amoura Griffin (3), KK Murray (2), Maddie Hair (2) and Brook Goodwin (2).

Athens fell to 11-20 and 1-4.

CHAPEL HILL 46, GILMER 15

NEW CHAPEL HILL — Necie Johnson had 12 points and five rebounds as Chapel Hill took a 46-15 win over Gilmer on Tuesday.

Ayana McGill Gardner and Aryssa Cooper each had 7 points, and Cooper had four steals. Ra’Nyah Tomlinson had a team-high six steals.

Chapel Hill (16-8, 6-0) will play at Spring Hill (18-7, 5-1) at 6 p.m. Friday.

BULLARD 43, HUDSON 38

BULLARD — Lila Robertson scored 21 points to lead Bullard to a 43-38 win over Hudson on Tuesday night.

After not scoring in the first quarter, Robertson scored all five of Bullard’s points in the second quarter and then scored 10 in the third and six more in the fourth to give her 16 points after the break.

Bullard led 8-7 after the first quarter and trailed 20-13 at halftime. The Lady Panthers came back and grabbed a 28-27 lead after three quarters.

Emmalee Neuhaus scored 11 points for Bullard. Aariyah Campbell had 6; Lanna Kidd 3; and Allison Edwards 2.

Bullard (15-9, 2-0) will play at Center at 6:15 p.m. Friday.

SUNNYVALE 61, WILLS POINT 29

SUNNYVALE — Sunnyvale notched a 61-29 win over the Wills Point Lady Tigers on Tuesday.

Allison Kafka had 12 points in the loss for Wills Point (16-8, 1-1 in District 13-4A).

The Lady Raiders are 20-4 and 2-0.

HAWKINS 86, BIG SANDY 25

HAWKINS — The Hawkins Lady Hawks (No. 1 TGCA, No. 8 TABC) rolled to an 86-25 win over Big Sandy in District 21-2A action on Tuesday.

Taetum Smith led all scorers with 21 points, adding eight steals and eight assists to her big night. Haylee Skipworth had 15 points, Alaya Scoggins 14 points, five rebounds and three steals, Londyn Wilson 10 points and four steals, Karsyn Johnson nine points, Jentri Evans six points, eight steals and four assists, Addy Turrentine five points, Alana Gipson four points and Abby McQueen two points.

NORTH FORNEY 46, LONGVIEW 45

LONGVIEW — Longview girls basketball had an opportunity to move up the District 10-6A standings when it hosted North Forney at Lobo Coliseum on Tuesday night, but its game-tying free throw attempt didn’t fall in the hoop with one second remaining in a disappointing 46-45 defeat.

The Lady Lobos dropped their 2024-2025 season record to 17-4 and district record to 2-3 before they travel to Royse City for Friday’s 6:30 p.m. road game.

The Lady Falcons, meanwhile, improved to 10-11 and 3-2 respectively before they host Rockwall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

PINE TREE 60, KILGORE 52

LONGVIEW — At the Pirate Center, Aaliyah Oliver and Tajah Dennis combined for 31 points, and the Pine Tree Lady Pirates improved to 17-9 overall and 4-2 in District 16-4A play with a 60-52 win over Kilgore.

Oliver finished with 17 points and three steals for the Lady Pirates, who led 20-15 after one quarter and 32-31 at halftime. Dennis added 14 points and six rebounds, and Jazmin Johnson tossed in 12 points.

NORTH LAMAR 39, PITTSBURG 36

PITTSBURG — The North Lamar Lady Panthers held on for a 39-36 District 14-4A win over the Pittsburg Lady Pirates on Tuesday.

Randieunna Jeffery scored 13 points in the loss for Pittsburg (20-4, 1-1). Vivianne Marquez had seven, Gina Mackey five, Nataly Gonzalez, Araceli Moreno and Era Osornio three each and Camryn Mackey two.

TATUM 82, WEST RUSK 28

TATUM — Kaleigh Hooker scored 18 points, three other Lady Eagles reached double figures in the scoring column and Tatum moved to 5-0 in District 16-3A play (15-6 overall) with an 82-28 win over West Rusk.

Hooker added seven assists and five rebounds for Tatum, which led 20-14 after one quarter and stretched the lead to 47-18 at halftime.

Aundrea Bradley added 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and seven steals for the Lady Eagles. Kamdyn Scott finished with 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals, Alecia Halton 10 points, four steals and two assists, Patience Price nine points, eight assists, eight steals and seven rebounds, Kyndal Greenwood six points, Rhianna Harris five points, seven rebounds and three steals, Addyson Saunders two points and three rebounds and Alayah Creer two rebounds.

SABINE 40, ARP 25

LIBERTY CITY — Bailey Pierce dropped in 22 points to lead the way for the Lady Cardinals, and Sabine earned a 40-25 District 16-3A win over the Arp Lady Tigers.

Jayda Lewis and Kaitlynn Sanchez had four points apiece for Sabine, which led 2-1 after one quarter and 14-9 at halftime. Jada Kranzman had three points, Sarah Roberts, Ella Dot Phillips and Presley Johnson two each and Madison Pierce one.

HARMONY 35, NEW DIANA 32

DIANA — The Harmony Lady Eagles held on for a 35-32 District 13-3A win over the New Diana Lady Eagles on Tuesday.

Triniti Mauk paced Harmony with 16 points. Rendi Seahorn added 10, Evie Helpenstill four, Mally Davidson three and Kally Wade two.

Ava Smith, Starrmia Dixon and Jolie Ballard all scored nine points in the loss for New Diana. Smith added five rebounds and two steals, Dixon three rebounds and four steals, Ballard four rebounds and Taryn Reece five points and three rebounds.

HUGHES SPRINGS 38, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL HILL 21

HUGHES SPRINGS — Diamonique Bowles and Texcee Kelley scored 11 points apiece, Kelley had a double-double with 11 rebounds and the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs notched a 38-21 District 13-3A win over Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill.

Jordyn Moore added eight points and three steals for Hughes Springs, which outscored MPCH 15-2 in the fourth quarter. Fantasi Smith finished with six points and four rebounds, Bowles three rebounds and Kate McKinney two points and three rebounds.

JEFFERSON 71, DAINGERFIELD 28

JEFFERSON — In District 13-3A action, Keinysa Wallace led four Lady Bulldogs into double figures with 15 points as Jefferson rolled to a 71-28 win over the Daingerfield Lady Tigers.

Destiny Kelly had 13 points, Stormi McNeil 12, Janaa Goynes 11, Jazmyne Luster eight, Jordyn Davidson six, Kailyah Whitaker four and Jade Mallory two. Goynes also added eight rebounds, four assists and four steals, Davidson five rebounds, 10 assists and six steals, Kelly four rebounds and five steals, Wallace five steals, McNeil four rebounds and Whitaker and Mallory five rebounds apiece.
