Tyler Legacy senior Lily Beckham has earned Tyler Morning Telegraph Girls Soccer Player of the Week honors for games played Dec. 30-Jan. 4.

Beckham had five goals and four assists as the Lady Raiders went 3-0 with wins over San Antonio Reagan, Klein Cain and Montgomery Lake Creek.

Beckham had a hat trick against Class 6A Region 4 No. 2 San Antonio Reagan, leading the Lady Raiders to a 3-2 victory.

In a 5-0 win over Klein Cain, Beckham had a goal and two assists.

In a 5-1 win over Montgomery Lake Creek, Beckham had a goal and two assists.

In other outstanding performances in the area last week (nominated by coaches):

Tyler Legacy’s Briana Garcia had four goals and an assist. Freshman Bryleigh Gamble had three goals and an assist.

Grace Community junior Addison Eli had five goals and three assists to help the Lady Cougars place second at the Palestine Ladycat Winter Classic. Junior Elle Durham had three goals and four assists.

In the Lethal Soccer Regional Rankings, Tyler Legacy No. 17 and Longview No. 21 in Class 6A Region II; and Bullard No. 7, Pine Tree No. 8, Mabank No. 12, Henderson No. 13, Palestine No. 14, Kilgore No. 15, Athens No. 17, Pleasant Grove No. 18, Spring Hill No. 20, Chapel Hill No. 22, Paris No. 24 and Lindale No. 25 in Class 4A Region II.

East Texas teams ranked in the Texas Girls Coaches Association rankings are Jacksonville No. 6 in 5A.
