Boys Soccer: Tyler Legacy starts 3-0 at Frisco tournament

The Tyler Legacy Red Raiders went 3-0 at the Dr. Pink Tournament in Frisco.

The Red Raiders opened with a 4-2 win over Richardson Berkner.

Mario Delgado scored twice. Axel Ruben and Henry Yolain each had a goal and an assist. Luke Sanders added an assist.

Legacy cruised to a 7-1 win over Frisco Liberty.

Delgado had two goals. David Chavez, Jacob Shanhouse, Ruben, Yolain and Sanders all added a goal. Chavez had three assists. Juan Felix, Yolain, Ruben and Jacob Aguilar all had an assist.



The Red Raiders closed with a 6-0 win over Frisco Heritage.

Ruben netted four goals. Chavez and Victor Banda each scored a goal. Ruben, Shanhouse, Erick Mendez, Banda and Aguilar all had an assist.

Guy Wofford, David Ray and James Huggins teamed up for the shutout.

Legacy (3-0) will compete in the Mesquite Tournament beginning Thursday. The Red Raiders will face Mesquite Horn at 1 p.m. Thursday, El Paso Franklin at 3 p.m. Friday and West Mesquite at 1 p.m. Saturday.
