RENDI SEAHORN

Harmony’s Rendi Seahorn was named to the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State Volleyball first team for the 2024 season.

Seahorn made the team as a middle blocker.

Seahorn had 768 kills, 507 digs, 138 blocks and 72 aces in leading the Lady Eagles to the Class 3A Division II Region II final.

Tatum outside hitter Kamdyn Scott and Tatum libero Karly Stroud both made the second team.

Scott had 612 kills, 28 assists, 74 blocks, 367 digs and 74 aces. Stroud had 581 digs, 57 assists and 60 aces, and she was a 95 percent server.

Tatum setter Taydem Barker and White Oak outside hitter Addison McClanahan were named to the third team.

Barker had 1,120 assists, 64 kills, 214 digs and 47 aces, and she was a 92.8 percent server. McClanahan had 625 kills, 50 blocks, 354 digs and 66 aces.

Honorable mention selections from East Texas were middle blockers Shiloh Sluder (Troup), Kamyah Lacy (West Rusk), Hannah Haffner (West Rusk) and Aley Dixon (White Oak); outside hitters Emory Cover (Troup), Kaysen Foster (Tatum), Jolie Ballard (New Diana), Chloe Green (New Diana), Maddie Birdsong (Arp), Andee Bridges (White Oak), Carlie Buckner (West Rusk) and Mahayla McMahon (Mineola); setters Alli Sims (White Oak), Gabby Hector (Harmony), Bella Mata (West Rusk), Keeley McCann (Sabine) and Ava Smith (New Diana); and liberos Carlajah Adger (Atlanta), Keke Murphy (West Rusk) and Karsyn Edwards (White Oak).
