One person died in a multi-vehicle crash Friday evening in Flint.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred in the 2100 block of Highway 155 South, said Nikki Simmons, spokesperson for Smith County ESD 2.

No other injuries were reported.

Dispatch answered the call about 6:29 p.m. and the call was completed at 8:50 p.m. One lane of traffic was closed while crews worked the crash.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is handling the investigation. No further details, including the victim’s identity, have been released.
