LONGVIEW — Keaton Delaney and Mann Scott combined for 54 points as Brownsboro edged Spring Hill, 69-65, on Tuesday.

Delaney had 32 points and Scott had 22.

Brownsboro led 14-9 after the first quarter, 27-23 at halftime and 54-46 after three quarters.

Peyton Brockway, Lane Shaw and Danton Wright all had 4 points, and Amry Parmer added 3.



Brownsboro will face Showtime at 2:40 p.m. Thursday at the Wills Point Tournament.

Troup 87, Carlisle 25

TROUP — Five Tigers scored in double figures, and Troup raced out to a 21-1 lead after one quarter on the way to an 87-25 win over Carlisle.

Carson Davenport scored 16 points, Carter Graves 14, Caden Graves and Bryce McElroy 12 apiece and Keenan Foster 11 for Troup, which improved to 8-1 with the win.

Braxton Barton added eight points for Troup, Brett Wells seven, Tre Anderson six and Logan Chambers and James Pearce two each.

Jaxon Goss and La’Darius Starling had seven points apiece for Carlisle. Roberto Camacho added four, Brandon Garza, Chase Roland and Joseph Mejia two each and Aidan Martin one.

Brook Hill 62, Diboll 42

DIBOLL — Four players scored in double figures as Brook Hill took a 62-42 win over Diboll.

Beck Langemeier knocked five 3-pointers on the way to 23 points.

Jio Orrico scored 13 points, Majus Afanasjev 12 and Roy Rudzinskas 11. Luke McNeel added 2 points.

Brook Hill (11-1) will take on Carlisle at 3:20 p.m. Thursday in the Brook Hill Invitational.

GIRLS

Longview 50, Whitehouse 43

WHITEHOUSE — Jailiyah Rockmore went 6 for 6 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter and finished with a game-high 16 points to lead the Longview Lady Lobos to a 50-43 non-district win over Whitehouse on Tuesday.

Ashanti Smith added 10 points for Longview, with six coming in the fourth quarter where Longview outscored Whitehouse 14-5. Markayla Haynes finished with seven points, Maya Ward six, Terri Sparkman five, Paris Simpson four and Bethany Baltes two.

The Lady Lobos will open District 10-6A play at home on Friday against Rockwall.

Pine Tree 54, Cumberland Academy 36

The Pine Tree Lady Pirates got a combined 29 points from Aaliyah Oliver and NJari Williams on the way to a 54-36 win over Cumberland Academy to open District 16-4A play.

Oliver had 18 points and four steals for the Lady Pirates (13-4), who led 29-16 at halftime.

Williams finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Grace Community 54, New Diana 27

DIANA — Grace Community raced out to a 28-13 halftime lead on the way to a 54-27 non-district win over the New Diana Lady Eagles on Tuesday.

Kayleigh Tibbetts finished with 10 points and four rebounds in the loss for New Diana. Addilyn Valle added five points, Starrmia Dixon four points and four steals, Bailey Tennimon four points and six rebounds, Sawyer Stapleton two points and three rebounds and Taryn Reece two points.

West Rusk 48, Sabine 44

LIBERTY CITY — The West Rusk Lady Raiders built a 20-12 halftime lead and held on for a 48-44 win over the Sabine Lady Cardinals on Tuesday.

Madison Pierce had 11 points and Autumn Rhodes 10 for Sabine in the loss. Kaitlynn Sanchez added seven points, Bailey Pierce and Sarah Roberts six apiece and Ella Dot Phillips four.

Troup 50, White Oak 20

WHITE OAK — The Troup Lady Tigers opened District 16-3A play with a 50-20 win over the White Oak Ladynecks.

Qhenja Jordan had 15 points, ZaQuirah Jordan 12, Hannah Cearley 10, Amari Shepard six, Jakeira Davis five and Paisley Skinner two for Troup.

Sophia Lacy finished with five points for White Oak. Peyton Thompson and Kalyn Hepler had four apiece, Gentry Whittington three and Carrington Watson and Lauryn Rosado two each.

Union Grove 33, McLeod 18

UNION GROVE — The Union Grove Lady Lions opened District 21-2A play with a 33-18 win over McLeod on Tuesday.

Nico Carloni dropped in 10 points for Union Grove, which led 14-2 after one quarter and 24-8 at halftime. Keira Taylor added seven points, Danica Vestal six, Taylor Campbell and Sarah Prince three apiece and Jamie Webb and Mallorie Cannon two apiece.

Hawkins 64, Ore City 10

HAWKINS — Alana Gipson scored a career-high 16 points, Taetum Smith added a double-double with 16 points, 12 steals, seven rebounds and three assists and the Hawkins Lady Hawks opened District 21-2A play with a 64-10 win over Ore City.

Gipson also had seven rebounds for Hawkins. Alaya Scoggins chipped in with 12 points and two steals, Londyn Wilson eight points, Jentri Evans four points, three steals and three assists, Karsyn Johnson four points, Addy Turrentine three points and two assists and Abby McQueen one point and five rebounds.

Wills Point 43, Edgewood 21

Lacey Luna and Allison Kafka both scored 15 points for Wills Point in a 43-21 non-district win over Edgewood.

Madison Allen chipped in with 10 points for Wills Point.

Chapel Hill 52, Kilgore 19

Necie Johnson had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead Chapel Hill to a 52-19 win over Kilgore.

Ayana McGill Gardner had 10 points and nine rebounds. Aryssaa Cooper and Lorena Taylor Fuentes each had 8 points, and Cooper also had seven steals.
