Kindergarten students at Ramey Elementary School were excited to learn their campus was chosen as a recipient for the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program, an initiative that introduces these students to the joy and independence of bike riding. With the support of a generous grant from the HDR Foundation, the program was launched at a special ceremony on Tuesday.
Teachers and students were presented with 24 Strider balance-to-pedal bikes, helmets, and other resources, followed by a heartwarming first ride by the kindergarteners. Ramey Elementary’s leadership, including Ramey Principal Angelica Brown and representatives from the HDR Foundation, delivered a brief presentation before the bikes were unveiled.

We are incredibly grateful to the HDR Foundation for their generosity and for making this opportunity possible for our students.”
This program, supported by All Kids Bike, equips schools with an eight-lesson curriculum, teacher training, and all the necessary materials to teach children the life-changing skill of riding a bike. By fostering physical activity and confidence, it aims to leave a lasting impact on young learners.
