Bundle up and get ready to head to downtown Tyler for the annual Rose City Christmas Parade. Set for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5, this year’s event promises to dazzle with enchanting floats, joyful performances, family fun and plenty of Christmas magic.

Parade-goers can expect a new route for the 2024 Rose City Christmas Parade.

Starting at West Gentry Parkway, the parade will head south on N. Broadway Avenue, then turn right onto W. Locust Street. It will continue with a left turn onto N. Bonner Avenue, a left on W. Ferguson Street, and another left on N. Spring Avenue.

The parade will end at the intersection of N. Spring and E. Ferguson. Participants will finish at E. Bow, while Santa and the 2024 Miracle Child will exit at Ferguson and head south on Spring Avenue.

Several parking options are available near the parade route. These include Marvin Methodist Church at 300 West Erwin, First Baptist Church at 301 West Ferguson, Christ Episcopal at 118 South Bois D’Arc, the new Smith County parking garage at 210 East Ferguson and the Fair Plaza Parking Garage at 208 South College Ave.



Parking at these locations is free and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Parade Committee recommends arriving early to secure a spot and avoid road closures that will begin at 5 p.m. in preparation for the parade.

Parade volunteers are instructed to park at the Iglesias Church at 102 West Bow St.

The 2024 Rose City Christmas Parade is sponsored by the three Tyler Rotary International clubs: South Tyler Rotary, Sunrise Rotary and The Rotary Club of Tyler. These local organizations aim bring holiday spirit to the city with this festive event.
