Two people raised their fists after donating blood through Carter BloodCare

Carter BloodCare and Greenberg Smoked Turkey are partnering for a special “Give a Pint, Get a Bird” event in Tyler on Nov. 23 and 24.

For two days, anyone who donates blood at the Carter BloodCare Tyler Donor Center will receive a free smoked turkey from Greenberg Smoked Turkey, a local holiday tradition for over 80 years.

The event aims to collect 1,000 blood donations, which can help save the lives of up to 3,000 Texas patients, including accident victims, cancer patients, organ transplant recipients, and mothers experiencing difficult childbirths. Blood is needed every day for these and many other patients in critical need.

In addition to the smoked turkey, each donor will also receive a Carter BloodCare blanket while supplies last.
