A new Whataburger has opened in Tyler.

DKT Investments Inc. opened its 10th Tyler Whataburger on Tuesday afternoon.

“Tyler and East Texans are extremely special to us,” Operating Partner Nick Ellett said. “We’re very excited to bring Whataburger’s bold, fresh flavors to a brand new location in the Rose Capital of Texas.”

The restaurant is located at 8910 S. Broadway Ave. at the Village in Cumberland Park. 

Gift baskets were passed out to the restaurant’s first guests in line in the lobby and the drive-thru lane on Tuesday afternoon.

The restaurant will be open 24 hours for drive-thru and dining room service. It will be open every day all year except for Christmas Day. Breakfast is served 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.

In the coming weeks, Whataburger plans to roll out additional service options, including ordering via the Whataburger App and Whataburger.com for curbside pickup and delivery.

DKT plans to hold a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration in January. Meanwhile, guests will be served by 65 local employees, led by Marchan.
