ET Volleyball: Henderson sweeps Sulphur Springs

HENDERSON 3, S. SPRINGS 0: The Henderson Lady Lions moved on in the Class 4A playoffs with a 25-16, 25-16, 27-25 area win over Sulphur Springs on Thursday.
Kate Charlo had 10 kills, eight assists and seven digs for the Lady Lions. Tara McNew chipped in with three digs, Addison Standley 12 kills, two assists, four blocks and seven digs, Mary Ella Hampton 13 assists and seven digs, Hannah Nelson five assists, two kills and three digs, Nolyn Norris 13 digs, Brinklee Bowman seven kills and two digs and Chloe Ellis five digs.

Henderson will take on either Celina or Life Waxahachie in the next round.
TATUM 3, H. SPRINGS 0: Taydem Barker handed out 24 assists, Kamdyn Scott knocked down 12 kills and the Tatum Lady Eagles swept past Hughes Springs 25-12, 25-13, 25-12 to advance to the third round of the Class 3A playoffs.
Scott added two blocks, 14 digs and five aces, and Barker had seven digs and two kills for the Lady Eagles. Kyndal Greenwood finished with three digs, Aundrea Bradley three kills, two blocks and two digs, Karly Stroud 11 digs, two aces and two assists, Taylor Jacobs five kills, Noa Cart three digs, Adriana Lomas three digs and Kaysen Foster two assists, five kills, 10 digs and five aces.
Tatum will take on Ponder at 7 p.m. on Friday at Forney High School.
HARMONY 3, TROUP 0: TYLER — Rendi Seahorn delivered 21 kills to go along with 16 digs and two aces, Gabby Hector handed out 20 assists and the Harmony Lady Eagles earned a 25-22, 25-22, 25-9 sweep over Troup in Class 3A area volleyball playoff action.
Hector added nine digs and five kills for Harmony, which improved to 32-7 with the win.

Trista Tittle had nine digs and three assists, Hannah Martin seven digs and two aces, Maecy Toland five digs, four blocks and three kills, Isabel Morris eight digs and four kills, Mally Davidson and Noel Edge five digs apiece and Lakyn Trimble three digs.
Harmony will take on Paradise at 6:30 p.m. on Monday in Princeton.
W. RUSK 3, DE KALB 0: The West Rusk Lady Raiders advanced to the third round of the playoffs for the first time in school history with a 26-24, 25-13, 25-21 sweep over De Kalb in 3A area playoff action.
Bella Mata handed out 32 assists to go along with 13 digs and three aces for West Rusk, which will take on Boyd or Blue Ridge in the next round.
Carlie Buckner finished with four aces, 10 kills and 15 digs for the Lady Raiders. Hannah Haffner had four kills, eight blocks and eight digs, Irelind Hunt 11 kills and five digs, Kamyah Lacy six kills and four digs, Kara King 12 digs, Keke Murphy 31 digs, Kimora Pryor four kills and five digs and Paisley Smith eight digs.
BECKVILLE 3, L-KILDARE 2: Hannah Hester and Carli Tuttle combined for 31 assists, Kellen Weaver delivered 12 kills and the Beckville Ladycats rolled into the third round of the Class 2A playoffs with a 25-12, 25-15, 25-10 sweep over Linden-Kildare.
Hester had 19 assists, five digs and eight kills, Tuttle 12 assists, three kills, two aces and four digs and Weaver three blocks and four digs. Gracey Struwe finished with five digs, Emily Grandgeorge five digs, Karsyn Coleman two kills and two aces, Ayanna Burroughs four kills, Adyson Davis five kills and Kaitlyn Mauritzen five digs.
Beckville will face Iola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Palestine High School.
