Tyler Legacy moved to 2-0 on the season with a 67-26 win over Lufkin on Tuesday at Tyler Legacy Varsity Gymnasium.

New Mexico State commit Senoj Jones poured in 28 points and added 19 rebounds and four assists for the Lady Raiders.

Legacy led 17-7 after the first quarter, 33-10 at halftime and 47-17 after three quarters.

Other scorers for Legacy were Zaerya Ceasar 9; Nichole Baldwin 8; Grace Mills 7; Holland Pine 6; Na’Coria Jackson 5; DeCaila Bailey 2; and Shanaya Shaw 2.

Legacy opened the season with a 59-33 win over Lake Highlands.



Jones had 19 points and Mills put in 16 points.

Other scorers were Pine 9; Ceasar 6; Madison Farmer 4; Jackson 2; Zion Smith 2; and Baldwin 1.

Legacy will take on Bossier City Airline at 6 p.m. Saturday as part of the Herb Richardson Classic at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

Bullard 84, Wells 28

Lila Robertson scored 21 points to lead the Lady Panthers to an 84-28 win over Wells.

Aariyah Campbell scored 12 points, and Savanna Lewis, Rylie Graul and Allison Edwards all had 11 points. Other scorers were Lanna Kidd 9; Carissa Holloway 5; and Emmalee Neuhaus 4.

Kaitlyn Collins led Wells with 14 points.

Bullard opened the season with a 66-23 victory against Kemp.

Robertson had 17 points. Campbell scored 14, and Kidd had 12. Other scorers were Neuhaus 9; Graul 8; Lewis 2; Kaylan Mercer 2; and Edwards 2.

Mount Pleasant 54, Chapel Hill 39

Neice Johnson scored 9 points as the Lady Bulldogs dropped a 54-39 decision to Mount Plesant.

R’Nyah Tomlinson added 7 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Chapel Hill opened the season with a 42-33 win over Lindale.

Johnson had 11 points. Aryssa Cooper had 9 points, six rebounds and five steals. Lorena Taylor Fuentes had 6 points, six rebounds and five steals. Ra’Niyah Suell had 6 points and three rebounds, and Tobi Adams added 5 points, six rebounds and three steals.

LaPoynor 49, Woden 40

Breona Howard and Kendall Garcia each scored 13 points to lead LaPoynor past Woden.

Savannah Reynolds added 11 points for LaPoynor (2-0).

LaPoynor opened the season with a 49-43 win over Groesbeck, outscoring the Lady Goats 21-4 in the fourth quarter.

Garcia had 16 points, and Reynolds scored 15 points.

Cumberland Academy 44, White Oak 26

Makenna Wade scored 16 points to lead Cumberland Academy to a win over White Oak.

Other scorers for Cumberland were Cori Wortham 8; Geaniyah Hawkins 5; Keahna Kindle 4; Apphia Connor 3; Chloe Mosley 3; Kayahroyale Fortman 3; and Rylea Carroll 2.

Brook Hill 34, Brownsboro 28

Indeya Williams had 15 points, five rebounds, six steals and a block to lead Brook Hill to a 34-28 win over Brownsboro.

Other scorers were Anna Chwalbinska 7; Savannah Onley 6; Remy Tonroy 2; Zuzanna Majchrzak 2; and Mariangel Winnubst 2.

Onley had five rebounds and five steals, and Mylee Booth added five rebounds.

Brook Hill led 8-4 after the first quarter, 19-10 at halftime and 31-16 after three quarters.
