There have been multiple business closures, along with some openings and expansions, in the Tyler area over the last month.
Among them:
Tyler Innovation Pipeline
Tyler Innovation Pipeline will be closing its operations, with the final day of operation being Thursday, Oct. 31. This decision comes in light of the withdrawal of significant funding. Despite efforts to secure financial support from various sources, those attempts were unsuccessful.
Executive Director James Hardin expressed his appreciation for the time and effort many have invested. Their impact in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship will not be forgotten.
The Loft
The Loft Downtown Mall, located at 117 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler, is now open to the public. Housed inside the historic Fair building, the space offers a unique shopping experience with three levels of vintage items, antiques, and creative collections. Most recently, the space was formerly occupied by Hinds Art Gallery which announced its closure in March.
Hours at The Loft are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Upcoming events at The Loft Downtown Mall provide an opportunity to explore the charm of historic downtown Tyler and support local creators.
