TYLER — Timothy (Timo) William Campbell retired veteran of the United States Army, 2 battalion, 75th ranger regiment from Tyler, TX, suddenly passed away on September 8, 2024.
Timo is survived by his loving parents, Billy and Angela Campbell, his grandparents, Jackie and Kathy Harris, Steve and Darlene Roberts, his dear brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Tiffany Campbell, his sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Dr. Chris Godwin, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
At the young age of 18, Timo enlisted in the US Army. He held his service in the highest regard and achieved the esteemed rank of Sergeant First Class. During his service, he displayed exceptional bravery and was honored with the Purple Heart, three Bronze Stars with Valor, and numerous other well-deserved decorations, medals, badges, and awards.
As we pay our respects and honor his life, visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 6pm to 7:30pm. The funeral services will take place on Saturday September 14, 2024, lead by Rev. Jonathan Porter at 10am at Burks-Walker-Tippit in Tyler, Texas. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved him during this difficult time.
