The Hamptons of Tyler was transformed into a lively hub of spiritual and social activity on Aug. 18, thanks to a special Vacation Bible School (VBS) event hosted in collaboration with Bascom Methodist Church.

For the second year in a row, Pastor Dan Seal and his congregation from Bascom Methodist Church brought their VBS Day to The Hamptons of Tyler, transforming an ordinary day into something extraordinary with creativity, food and fun.

From devotional services to lively sing-alongs, craft projects to tasty lunches, and even a game of bingo with prizes, the VBS day offered something for everyone. The seniors connected with new friends and experienced the joy of spiritual fellowship.

While their biweekly devotionals and sing-alongs are always cherished, this VBS Day was something special and a highlight for everyone involved.

“Bascom Methodist Church is like a breath of fresh air for our community,” said Rob Jones, Executive Director of The Hamptons of Tyler. “Our residents were glowing after this VBS Day. Pastor Dan and his team always know how to bring the sunshine. We’re so grateful for their friendship and the joy they bring to our community.”
