Volleyball season has started and the 2024 Tyler ISD Volleyball Invitational is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday.

Participating teams are Tyler Legacy, Tyler High, Texas High, Brownsboro, Mineola, China Spring, Princeton, Kilgore, Center, Pleasant Grove, Lufkin, Bullard, Chapel Hill, Carthage, Van, Dallas W.T. White, Bryan Rudder, Lindale, Sanger and Jacksonville.

Matches will be played at Tyler Legacy High School and Tyler High School.

Thursday’s schedule at Tyler Legacy Court 1 is Tyler Legacy vs. Brownsboro, noon; Texas High vs. Mineola, 1 p.m.; Tyler Legacy vs. Mineola, 2 p.m.; Texas High vs. Brownsboro, 3 p.m.; Brownsboro vs. Mineola, 4 p.m.; and Tyler Legacy vs. Texas High, 5 p.m.

Thursday’s schedule at Tyler Legacy Court 2 is China Spring vs. Kilgore, noon; Princeton vs. Center, 1 p.m.; China Spring vs. Center, 2 p.m.; Princeton vs. Kilgore, 3 p.m.; Kilgore vs. Center, 4 p.m.; and China Spring vs. Princeton, 5 p.m.

Thursday’s schedule at Tyler Legacy Court 3 is Pleasant Grove vs. Bullard, noon; Lufkin vs. Chapel Hill, 1 p.m.; Pleasant Grove vs. Chapel Hill, 2 p.m.; Lufkin vs. Bullard, 3 p.m.; Bullard vs. Chapel Hill, 4 p.m.; and Pleasant Grove vs. Lufkin, 5 p.m.

Thursday’s schedule for Tyler High Court 1 is Tyler High vs. Van, noon; Carthage vs. Dallas WT White, 1 p.m.; Tyler High vs. Dallas WT White, 2 p.m.; Carthage vs. Van, 3 p.m.; Van vs. Dallas WT White, 4 p.m.; and Tyler High vs. Carthage, 5 p.m.

Thursday’s schedule for Tyler High Court 2 is Bryan Rudder vs. Sanger, noon; Lindale vs. Jacksonville, 1 p.m.; Bryan Rudder vs. Jacksonville, 2 p.m.; Lindale vs. Sanger, 3 p.m.; Sanger vs. Jacksonville, 4 p.m.; and Bryan Rudder vs. Lindale, 5 p.m.

Friday will also be pool play and pools will be determined by Thursday’s results, and play will begin at noon Friday.

There will be three brackets on Saturday — Gold, Silver and Bronze — and play will begin at 9 a.m. The Bronze championship is at noon Saturday at Tyler Legacy Court 3.

The Silver championship is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tyler High Court 1, and the Gold championship is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tyler Legacy Court 1.
