An indoor golf simulator is coming to South Tyler.

The Back Nine is opening soon at 2467 Crow Rd. Suite 300 in Tyler. A grand opening will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 13.

The Back Nine’s indoor golf experience allows players to enjoy 250-plus golf courses including some of the most popular courses in the world, such as Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, Bonnie Doon, Meadowbrook, Casa De Campo, Royal St. George’s Golf Club, Marco-Simone and Paris International.

When it comes to indoor golf simulators versus the real thing, The Back Nine says “there’s a lot less ball chasing and no need to worry about the weather. You’re inside on turf, able to use tees as needed and practice everything from putting to your long drive,” according to its website.

With Trackman, spending time at The Back Nine Golf offers one of the most accurate golf simulations available not only can you enjoy the game, but you can also get invaluable analytics to help improve your swing faster.

Players can also get tailored analytics. The simulator uses Trackman golf technology, which it says is the leader in the industry for golf course virtual simulation and technology.

“Not only are you able to play in one of our state-of-the-art golfing bays but choose from hundreds of activities to entertain guests of all skill levels, compete with friends, or dial up your game,” the website states.

On average, a guest can expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour playing 18 holes on a golf simulator.

In addition to the full swing simulators, The Back Nine location will have a putting green so players can work on their short game.

The business’ website says the simulator is popular for golf lovers as they can golf anytime with unlimited tee times on nights, weekends and even holidays.

The grand opening event will feature food catered by Sola Bread Co., alcoholic beverages, competitions and prizes, according to the business’ Facebook page.

The business is owned by Rontez and Amber Manning, according to The Back Nine Tyler’s Facebook page.

Memberships are available, but tee times will be available to anyone.

Guests can bring their own clubs but the location will have clubs to rent as well.

There are also games for children.

“Our simulators provide engaging games, both for long drive and putting for all ages,” the website states. “Kids love playing Magic Pond, which allows them to work on their drive while also capturing fun monsters. If they want to work on their putting, mini-golf style putt putt courses like Streets of Neon is the way to go!”

The Facebook page notes guests can bring their own beverages once the establishment opens.
