Two Mississippi men accused of murder were arrested in Tyler over the weekend.

On Friday, a pair of brothers from Vicksburg, Mississippi were arrested in connection with a fatal shooting authorities say happened at a convenience store in Vicksburg.

Willie Andre Johnson, 24, and Wilmar De’Andrea Johnson, 23, were booked into the Smith County Jail. Willie Johnson is being held on one count of murder, while Wilmar Johnson has been charged with murder and drive-by shooting.

The Vicksburg Daily News reported the arrests stem from a shooting that allegedly occurred June 6, just outside city limits. A victim died from his injuries.

Two others were also arrested in connection with the case. The Tyler Morning Telegraph’s news partners at CBS19 report those arrests were made in Memphis, Tennessee. The Vicksburg Daily News reported the convenience store shooting as one in a string of shootings in the area over multiple days.
