FCA Heart of a Champion Bowl Saturday

The 14th Annual Northeast Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes Heart of a Champion All-Star football game is slated for Saturday in Tyler.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Earl Campbell Field at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.

The all-star bowl game is sponsored by Chick-fil-A.
Tickets are $10 and $5 (under 10). The games serve as fundraisers for the FCA.
The baseball and softball games were played Friday at Tyler Legacy High School.
Robert Bardin, NETX FCA director, said the goals of the NETX FCA All-Star games include:
— to bring glory to God;
— to bring recognition to the work of FCA on the middle school, high school and college campuses in Northeast Texas;

— to highlight the talent of Northeast Texas athletes and coaches.
Bardin said, the mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
Bardin is joined on the NETX FCA Leadership by Barbara Bardin, NETX FCA administrative specialist; Jeff Lee, Longview Area representative; Caitlin Petrich, East Texas Baptist University college campus representative; and Butch Smith, Van Zandt County area representative.
