TYLER — Henry Crane Steinmann passed away quietly on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Tyler, Texas.
He was born June 21, 1951, in Houston, Texas. His parents were Elizabeth Anne Schleicher and Weldon A. Steinmann. He grew up in Houston, attending public schools and the University of St. Thomas.
Henry was a man of many interests and talents. He was in the restaurant business and an art dealer. He enjoyed history, art, travel, reading, bird hunting, and lively dinners with friends and family. He was an avid collector of books, contemporary art, and interesting antiquities.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Scott Steinmann, and his parents.
Henry is survived by his brother, Weldon A. Steinmann, Jr. and sister, Katie Thompson.
