Barbara Sue Glass

TYLER — Barbara Sue Glass, 69, passed away on 3/20/2024 after a brief illness.

Barbara was born 6/27/1954 to parents William Hix and Elise Marie Glass in Longview, TX .

After Graduating from Longview High School in 1972, Barbara furthered her studies at Kilgore College earning an associate’s degree in Airline Travel in 1973.

In 1973 Barbara landed her first job as a Reservation Sales Agent for Texas International Airlines in Houston. In 1979 she moved to Tyler to work as a Travel Consultant for Travel Banque International for 5 years. Barbara finished her career in the travel industry with nearly 40 years as General Manager of Travel Masters in Tyler.

Barbara was a life long Dallas Cowboys fan. She enjoyed online shopping, dining and travel.

Barbara was predeceased by both parents, brother William Glass, Greensboro NC and sister Patricia (Glass) Verhoeven, Tyler. She is survived by nephews Alan Marble, Whitehouse, Randall Marble, Dallas, Alex and Aaron Glass, niece Leslie Heintz, Arlington.
