Artwork by graduate-level and undergraduate students at The University of Texas at Tyler is currently displayed on campus for the spring 2024 exhibitions.

The Master of Arts thesis exhibition, Eat Your Feelings, is open in the UT Tyler Fine Arts Complex Gallery and features work by graduate degree candidate Emily Everitt of Canton.

A public reception with artist talk was held on April 4 at the gallery. Her show, which highlights food sculptures, uses vibrant colors, exaggerated proportions and unexpected details.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition, MIND BODY SOUL, is open in the UT Tyler Meadows Gallery and showcases the works of undergraduate degree candidates Sevastian Jimenez of Longview, Bianca Mondragon of Tyler and Chloey Dalrymple of Kemp.

A public reception featuring artist talks will take place on April 11 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the gallery located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Jimenez focuses on using geometric shapes made from white stoneware clay and screen print work. Mondragon chooses screen printing as her primary medium, as well as digital and traditional art, which she combines to make her pieces. Dalrymple is a multimedia artist who creates abstract organic artwork.

Both exhibitions conclude Friday, April 12.
