TYLER, Texas — One person was hospitalized following an Easter Sunday shooting in Tyler.

According to the Tyler Police Department, officers were called to an aggravated assault on Lenox Ave., around 4:35 p.m.

When police arrived on scene, they learned a man had been shot and sustained non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
