Tyler law firm welcomes new associate attorney

Wilson, Robertson & VanDeventer, P.C. is welcoming a new Associate Attorney to the firm – Natalie Drott.

The Tyler law firm handles civil or commercial litigation, energy/oil & gas, estate planning and trust law, education and government law, intellectual property litigation, real estate, wills and probate and more.
Born and raised in Austin, Drott graduated from high school in 2017 and then went to Bloomington, Ind., to attend Indiana University (IU), majoring in Biology and minored in Environmental Science, Psychology, and Spanish.
She volunteered with Bridges International, a campus ministry focused on serving international students; studied abroad in Santiago, Chile; and taught a class to freshman students.
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought her back to Austin, where she remotely earned her Bachelor of Science and graduated with honors from IU. While waiting to start law school, she worked for The Legal Connection, a legal support company in Austin, and volunteered with the chapter of Bridges International at UT Austin.
In February 2021, Drott began earning a juris doctor from Baylor Law School, exploring courses related to real estate, estate planning, intellectual property, tax law, and business law.
While at Baylor Law, she maintained membership on Baylor Law Review, volunteered in Baylor’s Intellectual Property and Estate Planning Clinics, and worked as a form editor grading student papers.

Outside of law school, she worked as a student assistant to Baylor’s Pre-Law Program Manager, where she met with, advised, and encouraged pre-law undergraduate students.
While in Waco, she was involved with Harris Creek Baptist Church, serving in the children’s ministry and mentoring college student small group leaders.
She met her future husband, Kyle Drott, a Whitehouse native, while attending Baylor Law.
In November of last year, Drott graduated from Baylor Law School and received the honor of being the “Highest-Ranking Student” in her graduating class.
