Jeri Lynn Curtis

TYLER — Services for Jeri Lynn Curtis, 86, of Tyler, Texas, will be held on March 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.

Lynn passed away on March 11th at Hospice of East Texas.

Lynn was born on April 18, 1937, in Gregg County, Texas, to Vernon Gower and Ruth Yvonne Kissick.

Lynn attended Kilgore High School, Tyler Junior College, and the University of Texas at Tyler. She was a dedicated Texas Department of Human Services employee for several decades and volunteered at Hospice of East Texas. Lynn was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her cats and dogs. Lynn also enjoyed spending time outdoors on nature walks.

Lynn is preceded in death by her mother and father.

Lynn is survived by her son, Trey Curtis.

Pallbearers will be Trey Curtis, Roger Clayton, Larry Brady, Jimmy Fonfara, Butch McMichael, Toby Simpson, and David Smith.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Friday, March 15th at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
