UT Health welcomes family nurse practitioner

UT Health East Texas is expanding pulmonary services in Tyler with the addition of Susan Gallien, APRN, FNP-C.
Gallien is a certified family nurse practitioner at the UT Health East Texas Pulmonary Institute on Fleishel Avenue in Tyler. She had several careers before she got into healthcare, but none were as fulfilling as being a nurse. Her brother is also a nurse, and seeing how he insisted their mother receive the best healthcare possible while she fought cancer is what inspired her to become a nurse.
Gallien has a special interest in oncology and pulmonology that comes from her mother’s medical journey. She goes the extra mile to help her patients and their families. It is important for her to treat every patient like she would want her family treated.

Any Lab Test Now is now open in Tyler
A grand opening was held on Monday for Greenhigh Labs LLC, DBA Any Lab Test Now. The public was invited for cookies and a drawing with no purchase required. Prizes were $25 to $250 vouchers towards testing, B12 Injectables and 25 to 50% off tests. Drawings will be available all this week.
The Tyler Chamber of Commerce was also present for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new ownership.
According to their website, Any Lab Test Now®, the nation’s first direct access lab testing franchise with more than 200 locations, is listed among the fastest-growing private companies on the Inc. 5000.
The Any Lab Test Now Location in Tyler, as well as three locations in Dallas, was recently purchased by the Roberts Family of Tyler: Bruce and Kristi C. Roberts and their adult children Matthew Roberts, Samantha Jewell and Jackson Roberts.
After an extended search and a “great deal” of investigation, the family chose to purchase four franchise locations. They also purchased the territory in Longview and hope to have a fifth store opened there before the end of the year.
Any Lab Test Now is a walk-in, storefront, lab testing facility. No appointments are necessary, and walk-ins are welcome. The lab provides direct access to clinical, DNA, and drug and alcohol lab testing services, as well as phlebotomy and other specimen collection services.
While they do not accept medical insurance, Any Lab Test Now accepts HSA and FSA cards.
The facility offers an alternative for patients who are concerned about lab testing costs and provide a resource for the uninsured and underinsured. Patients can also contact their own insurance provider to discuss reimbursement plans. According to Any Lab Test Now, their pricing is transparent and clients will know full costs upfront, with no future billing surprises.
Any Lab Test Now offers thousands of tests to choose from, including general health, DNA, Drug and Alcohol, Health and Wellness, Pharmacogenomics, STD screening, gestational age, gender reveal and more. They are also Department of Transportation (DOT) Certified for Drug Testing.
The medical lab said it provides a professional and pleasant experience for private and affordable testing, and most results are completed in 24 to 72 hours, although some tests may take longer.
The lab is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and can assist clients in locating virtual doctor’s visits following testing, and can also provide collection services for medical testing kits and injectable nutrition.

Tyler Dutch Bros donate to East Texas Food Bank
The four locations of Tyler’s Dutch Bros Coffee donated more than $6,000 to the East Texas Food Bank during the annual Share the Luv campaign.
The national drive-thru coffee chain rolled out three new drinks: Dutch Luv Latte (half-roasted white coffee with frosted sugar cookie flavor topped with pink Soft Top), Dutch Luv Rebel (a blended Rebel energy drink infused with berry flavor topped with pink Soft Top), and Dutch Luv Frost (a blended frosted sugar cookie shake topped with pink Soft Top).
Between Feb. 1-19, the coffee chain donated $1 for every one of the featured drinks bought by customers to the local nonprofit organization.
The nationwide campaign garnered more than $900,000 to be donated to the local food banks in effort to feed the communities.
