Tyler police ask for public’s help as they continue to search for missing man

Police are asking the community for help as they continue to search for a Tyler man last seen 10 days ago.

Harley Warren Morris, 29, was last seen around 3 a.m. Jan. 21 walking north in the 2100 block of North Grand Avenue in Tyler after leaving the 50 Grand Club, according to the Tyler Police Department. The area is near Texas College.

He is 6-foot-3, weighs 160 pounds, and has blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black/gray hoodie pants, and a black Prime 102 baseball cap, and black shoes. Photos are included in this article.

On Wednesday, Tyler Police Department Public Information Officer Andy Erbaugh said investigators are asking for the public’s help as they continue the search for Morris. Police first reached out for the public’s assistance on Jan. 24, but are now in search of additional camera footage that could assist in the investigation.

Police are asking residents and businesses north of Gentry Parkway to North Loop 323 to check any cameras or doorbell cameras on the date of Jan. 21 from the times of 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. and report to police if you see anybody walking in the footage.



“Also please check around your residence or business for items that we know Harley Morris was wearing when he went missing,” Erbaugh said.
