Family Circle of Care receives top honor

Family Circle of Care has received the nation’s highest clinical recognition for the second year in a row – the 2023 Gold Quality Leader Award – which is awarded by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to the top 10% community health centers in the country.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by HRSA, the federal agency tasked with ensuring equitable healthcare for everyone in this country,” said Board Secretary & Treasurer Dee Wilson. “I have served on Family Circle of Care’s Board of Directors Quality Committee for several years and have been impressed by the dedication of the quality department, the physician leaders, and the entire staff who provide exceptional care and constantly strive to improve health outcomes for our patients.”

In addition to the 2023 Gold Quality Leader Award, Family Circle of Care was awarded the Access Enhancer Award, for significantly exceeding the number of patients it served over the previous year; the Health Disparities Reducer Award, for improving low birth weight and hypertension control scores for at least one racial/ethnic group and exceeding national benchmarks on these measures; the Health Information Technology Award; and the Patient Centered Medical Home award.
