Don Steele hit his first ever hole-in-one on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Pine Springs Golf Club in Tyler.

Steele, using a 9-iron, aced the 130-yard No. 10 hole.

Bill Taylor witnessed the ace.

Bob Holod

JACKSONVILLE — Bob Holod made a hole-in-one on Oct. 17 at Cherokee Ranch Golf Club.

Holod, using a 9-iron, aced the 139-yard No. 5 hole.

Witnesses were Chuck McCallister, David Carter, Wayne Moses and Bob Palmer.

HIDEAWAY — Cindy Melvin made a hole-in-one on Sept. 12 at Hide-A-Way Lake Club.

She aced the West No. 7 hole.

Melvin was playing in the HAWL 18-Hole WGA Golf Tournament.

TROUP — Roger Chesley made a hole-in-one on Sept. 30 at Hilltop Country Club.

Chesley, using a pitching wedge, aced the 115-yard No. 10 hole.

It was his sixth ace.

TROUP — Sue Olson carded a hole-in-one on Oct. 24 at Hilltop Country Club.

Olson, using a 6 hybrid, aced the 125-yard No. 3 hole.
