East Texas Title Companies names new leadership
East Texas Title Companies announced two new Vice Presidents have joined their leadership team. Diana Perez has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, and Lara Easley is now Vice President of Partnerships.
“These ladies have been with the title company for many years, both starting as receptionists in field offices,” said Jennifer Paul, Executive Vice President and General Manager. “They have consistently demonstrated can-do attitudes and have made significant contributions to our company, which has resulted in many stair-step promotions along the way. I am so pleased to add them to our leadership team.”
As Vice President of Operations, Perez is responsible for the daily operations of the title companies, streamlining processes and mentoring employees responsible for client satisfaction from contract to close.
According to East Texas Title Companies, Perez is well-suited for the position, as she has learned many different facets of the business since she joined the company as receptionist in the Jacksonville office in 2009.
Through the years, Perez has made significant contributions to the operations team, working to improve processes to ensure every client leaves the closing table smiling with delight.
Since 2019, she has served as Director of Operations.

In the role of Vice President of Partnerships, Easley will continue to provide exceptional service to all our Industry Partners. She started with the Canton office in 2000 as a receptionist. Since that time, she has worked in the commitment department and the policy department.
Easley has most recently been the Out-of-Office Closing and Title Evidence team manager, where she and her team were dedicated to providing excellent customer service and caring for the needs of clients. She will expand that role to business partnerships locally and throughout multiple counties in Texas.

“Our constant goal is to delight our clients, so it is absolutely necessary for people in these positions to understand every nuance of the title industry,” said Co-Owner Erica Hallmark. “These individuals have worked for East Texas Title Companies for many years in a variety of positions, and have learned the industry and our company from the ground up. They have played an integral role in where we’ve been, and will continue to do so in the future.”
East Texas Title Companies is an East Texas-owned and operated group of title companies that has built their business on the belief that a Texas-based company is your best choice for personal service and first-hand knowledge of Texans and Texas real estate.
In recent years, the company has outgrown its name, as they are now licensed to serve over 84 Texas counties.
KP Engineering recognized by Agra Energy
TYLER — KP Engineering, a leader in the design and execution of customized EPF and EPFCm solutions for the refining, syngas, hydrogen and renewable fuel industries is pleased to announce it has been selected as the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction management (EPFCm) partner for Agra Energy’s series of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plants.
These gas-to-liquids (GTL) units will produce sustainable aviation fuel or renewable diesel, produced entirely from effluent waste from dairy farms.
“We are honored to be a trusted partner for another project that converts waste to value, and to be working alongside a revolutionary developer like Agra,” said William E. Preston, CEO of KP Engineering. “Their technology will fundamentally improve the operational sustainability of dairy farmers in America and abroad.”
KPE’s scope of work consists of commissioning and startup assistance on Agra’s first plant, incorporating lessons learned into the design for succeeding units, incorporating SAF production capability into that design, updating the total installed cost estimate and executing the full EPFCm on the second plant. When completed and operational, the second plant will produce between 40 and 60 barrels per day of renewable fuel.
The second plant is scheduled to begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2024.
“Working with KP Engineering has been instrumental in our operational know-how, start up and commissioning,” said Tony Long, CEO, Agra Energy. “Now that the first unit is near producing, we look forward to partnering with KPE to further optimize for the second, third and many units to come as we scale. This will offer benefits to farms and communities in building a better world.”
This award comes as a result of KPE’s successful relationship with Agra and its unique engineering, procurement and modular fabrication capabilities as a wholly owned subsidiary of The Shaw Group.
KPE’s mission is to provide value-based engineering, procurement and fabrication solutions to the refining, specialty chemical and renewable industries at a price that enables our customers to achieve their safety, economic, environmental, and performance objectives. We accomplish this through rigorous engineering processes, a streamlined accessible organization, superior project execution and a commitment to excellence.
