- Stephen Dinger officially announced his candidacy for Tyler City Council on Aug. 28.
Stephen Dinger officially announced his candidacy for Tyler City Council on Monday. Dinger aims to leverage his background and experience to encourage development in District 2 and create prosperity citywide.
“The first time my wife and I came to Tyler, we knew this was where we wanted to build a life and raise our family,” Dinger said in a press release from CWJ Strategies. “We were impressed by the balance of commerce and culture, finding all the amenities we needed in a uniquely tight-knit community. We knew then we not only wanted to live here but wanted to serve here.”
As an advisor at Cadence Insurance and a partner at Tarry Title, Dinger feels his professional expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the success of community-driven initiatives. Additionally, he believes his role as a real estate investor reflects his belief in the potential of Tyler’s real estate market to thrive.
Before announcing his candidacy, Dinger served as a committed community volunteer. He is a Leadership Tyler Class 29 member and formerly served as a member of the Airport Advisory Board. He currently sits on the Smith County Appraisal Review Board and the Camp Tyler Board.
Dinger is married to Danielle, and they have two children, Emma, 6, and Blaine, 2. The Dingers attend South Spring Baptist Church as Sunday School teachers.
