It was a night for new beginnings Friday as the Whitehouse High School Class of 2023 closed out their high school careers. Now, the Wildcats will look ahead to the future and wherever that may take each of them.

The ceremony, which was held at Wildcat Stadium, featured speakers including valedictorian Ibrahim Ali Burghul and salutatorian Clark Sedurifa Abella.

Both of the top students’ speeches sprinkled in humor along with inspiration as the class looks to start fresh after high school. They thanked families, friends and supporters, and reflected back on memories throughout high school.

The graduating class had 340 seniors set to receive their diplomas.
