Lewisville 3, Tyler 1LEWISVILLE — The hometown Lewisville Farmers scored a 3-1 win over the Tyler Lions on Friday in the North Texas Elite Soccer Showcase.

Manny Rodriguez scored an unassisted goal for the Lions (0-4).

On Thursday, Prosper Rock Hill won over Tyler 3-1. Leo Lezama scored for the Lions, off an assist from Andy Espinal.

On Saturday, Arlington Sam Houston won over the Lions 4-0.

Tyler is slated to participate in the Midwestern State University Tournament in Wichita Falls — 5 p.m. vs. Fort Worth Trimble Tech on Thursday; 11 a.m. vs. Killeen Harker Heights on Friday; and 1 p.m. vs. Irving MacArthur on Saturday.
