Greg Vaughan, who grew up in Mesquite, has played recurring characters in several TV dramas and soap operas.

• Diego Guttierez on “The Young Restless (2002-2003)
• Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital” (2003 to 2009)
• Eric Brady on “Days of Our Lives” (beginning in 2012)

Vaughan won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2018 for his work on “Days of Our Lives.”
