Blotter: Smith County Jail Bookings May 18-19

Tyler Police Department

Officers charged Christopher James Hutto, 37, of Tyler, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Hutto was in Smith County Jail Monday with a $25,000 bond.



Officers charged Alana Leigh Johnson, 21, of Flint, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Johnson was in Smith County Jail Monday with a $10,000 bond.

Officers charged Thomas James Atwell, 31, of Athens, with burglary of building. Atwell was in Smith County Jail Monday with a $2,500 bond.

Officers charged Javeius Murcedes-Dejio Smith, 28, of Tyler, with possession of a penalty group two controlled substance greater than 4 and less than 400 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. Smith was in Smith County Jail Monday and released Tuesday. He had bonds of $25,000 and $500.

Deputies charged Gregory Troy Bennett, 57, of Lindale, with assault causing bodily injury. Bennett was in Smith County Jail Tuesday with a $2,500 bond.

Deputies charged Arthur Ray Burns, 64, of Tyler, with theft of property greater than $2,500 and less than $30,000. Burns was in Smith County Jail Monday with a $100,000 bond.

Deputies charged Horatio Deandre Mason, 25, of Troup, with assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Mason was in Smith County Jail Tuesday and released the same day. He had a $2,500 bond.

Deputies charged Jerome Wesley, 43, of Tyler, with assault (threat). Wesley was in Smith County Jail Tuesday and released the same day. He had a $393 bond.

Tyler Fire Marshal’s Office

Fire marshal’s officers charged Charles Woo Pak, 42, of Tyler, with arson of a building. Pak was in Smith County Jail Monday with a $150,000 bond.
