Letters to the Editor

Another Monday without a paper, a real paper. I turned 87 years old, April 17, 2020.

I remember the start of WWII. We never missed our Boston, Mass., newspaper. Like the post office, they delivered in snow, sleet or freezing rain.

As seniors, are we expected to have the money to purchase computers, printers and expensive cell phones?

I still have a very old cell phone which I use only if it’s an emergy, my car won’t start and I’ll call AAA. I love my in-line phone, I never have to worry about it going “dead” on me.

I spent my money on something more useful and important should I need electricity, a Generac that will give me power for my whole house, during power outages. Will an expensive computer run without electric power or how will you recharge your cell phone without power? Wake up, America!

Sir:

A am a “long” time subscriber, I pay for the paper but I’m not receiving it. The past 2 Mondays I have “not” received a paper.

I do not own a computer, an email, or any such. I’m in my 90’s and I do not have a use for such electrons.

Please help with my paper.

Respectfully,

Charles Aber

I HATE digital Mondays! When I pay $400 a year for a paper and delivery, that what I expect.

Unhappy Reader,
