Beverly Hurt Kaa

GARLAND — Beverly Hurt Kaaa, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on December 28, 2019 following her courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Darrel and Joyce Hurt on February 20, 1962 in Dallas, Texas, she was the youngest of three children.
She married the love of her life, Robert Kaaa of Killeen, TX on May 24, 1986 at the First United Methodist Church of Tyler in Tyler, Tx. They spent a wonderful and adventurous 33 years together.
Beverly was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and Tyler Junior College. She was a loyal worker for the Garland Independent School District, having worked nearly 20 years with the district.
Her love for life and those around her could only be match by her love for a Sonic Route 44 sweet tea, a good book and animals. Beverly cherished her daughters and granddaughters. She was always there for her family, friends, and co-workers. Her kind heart, willingness to serve and unparalleled love for her family will be forever missed.
Beverly is survived by her husband Rob; daughter Raney (Kaaa) Stryk, husband Anthony and daughter Audrey; daughter Ryann Kaaa-Bauer, husband Eric, and daughter Tyler; daughter Roxsan Kaaa; her mother Joyce Hurt and her sister Martha (Hurt) Hearn and a loving extended family.
She is proceeded in death by her father Darrel E. Hurt and brother Darrel E. Hurt Jr.
A visitation will be held at the Saint Matthias Catholic Church of Rockwall on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life.
