“My family and I are very excited about becoming a part of the Bullard ISD family,” Lee said. “We are excited to get to know the faculty and staff here at Bullard ISD, along with the community members. I also look forward to working with all the faculty and staff with the great things they are currently doing and moving forward into the future.”
Todd Schneider, the former superintendent, announced his retirement would be effective Aug. 31, according to a news release from Schneider.
In May, he planned to retire at the end of 2019-20 school year. Schneider said the board accepted his notice that he would be retiring early.
“I have been blessed to lead the district for the past four and a half years, watching you love and teach our students daily,” Schneider said in August. “After 31 years in Texas public education, I am looking forward to serving this district as a parent and community member. Thank you for all your support and dedication to the district during my tenure.”
