Virginia McMeans

Virginia Ann McAskill McMeans was born January 6, 1940 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She had been a resident of Chandler for 17 years. She was a loving mother and Christian. She loved helping other people, and always had a big smile on her face.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Albert McMeans, Sr.; daughters, Sherri (Jim) Kovesci of Indiana, and Barbara (Johnny) Fisher of Frankston; son, John A (Espie) McMeans Jr. of Chandler; two sisters, Nona Greenhill and Ollie Barrows; grandchildren, Misty Lynn (Richie) Tillema, Jeremy (Laura) Orcutt, Jennifer Orcutt, Jimmy (Kayla) Kovesci, Johnny Lee (Brittany) Fisher, Becky (Stephan) Gross, Laura (Brian) Torrez, Joshua (Sidney) McMeans; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Virginia passed away at the age of 79 on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Tyler, due to injuries sustained from an auto accident. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nona Burris and father, John Hugh McAskill.

There will be a CELEBRATION OF LIFE at a future date. All memorial tributes should be made to St. Jude Hospital.
