Glatch, who received a wild card entry into the main draw won 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 over the 25-year-old Zacarias who gained entry through the qualifying draw.

Zacarias had great success on the Junior Circuit, reaching a career-high ranking of world No. 7 in 2012 as a junior. Glatch is coming back from knee and hip surgery and an 18-month hiatus from professional play. After starting to play competitively again in only May, 30-year old Glatch knocked off the No. 1 seed Astra Sharma of Australia in the first round of the main draw earlier this week.

In the second semifinals match, Minella, ranked No. 169 in world, won over No. 190 American Danielle Lao, a former USC Trojan, 6-1, 7-5.

In the doubles final on Saturday, the Indonesian pair of Beatrice Gumulya and Jessy Rompies won over the team of Chieh-Yu Hsu of Taiwan and Zacarias 6-2, 6-3.

The RBC Pro Challenge is an $80,000 women’s USTA Pro Circuit tennis tournament hosted annually at the Tyler Athletic & Swim Club.

The event plays a crucial role in the USTA’s Australian Open Wild Card Challenge each fall. The singles champion in Tyler each of the last two years (Kristie Ahn 2017 and Whitney Osuigwe 2018) have received wild card entry into the Australian Open.
