Jalapeno Tree Restaurant proceeds benefit local United Way

Jalapeno Tree restaurants in Athens, Canton, Carthage, Gun Barrel City, Henderson, Jacksonville, Kilgore, Longview, Marshall, Mineola, Nacogdoches and Tyler are donating a portion of proceeds from their sales Aug. 27, to local United Way organizations across East Texas.
The amount totals $8,390.27, according to a news release from the business.
