The Tyler Lee class of 2020 tennis team has completed a rare accomplishment.

For the fourth straight year the Red Raiders are not only the team tennis district champions, but they also did not drop a league match during that span.

Lee finished the spotless run through District 11-6A with wins at Longview last week and against Mesquite Horn on Tuesday at Tyler Athletic & Swim Club.

REL, coached by Charles Sizemore, now advances to bi-district where the Red Raiders will play Copperas Cove on Oct. 15 at the Ennis Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

The area round is Oct. 17-19, followed by regional quarterfinals Oct. 21-22. The Class 6A Region II Tournament is Oct. 24 and 25. The regional semifinals are scheduled for Mansfield High School on Oct. 24 and at Mansfield Lake Ridge High School on Oct. 25. The regional champion advances to the state tournament, which is scheduled for Oct. 30-31 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center and the Omar Smith Intramural Tennis Center on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station.
