About Panhandle State: This is the fourth straight road game for the Aggies to open the season. They have traveled and lost to Hastings College (40-22 in Hastings, Nebraska); Sam Houston State (77-0 in Huntsville); and No. 19 Langston (35-14 in Langston, Oklahoma). … QB Tony Brown, a transfer from West Point, leads the Aggies in rushing with 183 yards and two TDs on 36 attempts. He has connected on 13 of 33 attempts for 186 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. DJ Scott also plays quarterback. Scott has hit on 23 of 52 attempts for 156 yards and three interceptions.
About Texas College: The Steers were in the ballgame last week until Lyon pulled away in the fourth quarter. … TC is seeking its first win at home since defeating Texas Wesleyan 21-11 on Oct. 7, 2017. … Carlos Mosby leads the Steers in rushing with 88 yards on 26 carries. … Derrick Cooper (14 of 38, 199 yards, 2 TDs) was fulltime at quarterback against Lyon. … Dyamond Woods has six catches for 114 yards and a TD. … Monte Barre and Edward McDonald lead the Steers with 18 tackles each, followed by Da’trel Davis with 17 stops.
