Lindale Championship Rodeo begins Thursday at Cross Brand Cowboy Church arena

The 32nd annual Lindale Championship Rodeo begins Thursday and runs through Saturday at Cross Brand Cowboy Church, 11915 FM 2015, in Tyler.
Gates open each night at 6 followed by mutton busting at 6:15 p.m. and live music at 6:45 p.m.

The rodeo is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. featuring saddle bronc riding, team roping, bull riding and barrel racing.
Advance presale adult tickets are $8 and are available at the Lindale Chamber of Commerce office, Southside Bank, Texas Bank and Trust, Brookshire’s and Kidd Jones and in Tyler at Altra Federal Credit Union.
Free advance presale children’s tickets are available Thursday at Southside Bank, Friday at Texas Bank and Trust, Saturday at Brookshire’s and in Tyler at Altra Federal Credit Union.
Tickets can also be purchased at the gate, $10 for adults and $5 for children. Cash is the only form of payment accepted for ticket purchases.
The family friendly event has themes for each night.
Thursday’s theme is tough enough to wear pink. The organizers are asking the public to wear pink in support of breast cancer research, recovery and remission.

Friday is back the blue night to support law enforcement, military service members and first responders.
On Saturday, the organizers are asking rodeo goers to wear cowboy and cowgirl style clothing to celebrate rodeo western heritage.
