It may not have been perfect, but it was still an outstanding effort by UT Tyler pitcher Colleen Bentke.
After throwing a perfect game on Friday, Bentke tossed six innings of four-hit ball on Saturday to lead the Patriots to a 6-0 win over Belhaven University — the third straight shutout of the Blazers — at Suddenlink Field.

Bentke (12-2) struck out four and did not walk a batter. Miranda Leal pitched the seventh inning and did not allow a baserunner while striking out one.
The game was scoreless until the fourth when Mak Dominguez doubled home Breanne McElderry, who was pinch running for Serena Saldivar, who had doubled.
The Patriots (23-2) then plated four runs in the fifth on RBI doubles by Ashley Perez and Chaney Tart, along with an RBI single from Dariann Resendez.
Perez had three hits with Nicole Garcia adding two. Victoria Gonzales added a single.
Perez and Tart each had two RBIs with Resendez and Dominguez driving in one each. Garcia scored two runs with Gonzales, Shae Harris, Tart and McElderry crossing home.
Earning hits for the Blazers (10-16) were Marlee Blackwell, Bailey Root, Allie Gordon and Brianna Dollar.
