This week’s column is an updated version of one of my most popular posts of the past. I’m falling back on this “Kids Eat Free in Tyler” listing for two reasons.

First of all, because so many restaurants have come and gone since the last time I published this information here. Even our beloved Luby’s, where my own extended family has congregated to eat almost every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. for well over a decade, has recently shut its doors (though we’re hoping that it will only be temporary closing. Please!)

And second, because my husband and I have both been under the weather for the past few days, and I don’t feel up to writing anything new right now. Plus, I haven’t felt up to cooking, either, so our kids have been frequenting the restaurants on this list a lot lately while Mom and Dad have been resting up at home.

The offers are grouped by the day of the week for easy reference. Although I updated this listing for my website earlier this month, programs sometimes end without notice, so it’s always a good idea to call first and verify that kids (still) eat free.
