Ruby Lee (Washington) Rolling

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Washington Rolling, 86, Tyler is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Lee Springs Cemetery, Flint, Texas under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Tyler.

Mrs. Rolling died November 14, 2018 at Hospice of East Texas. She was born May 11, 1932 in Flint, Texas.

She attended school in Lee Springs. She was a longtime member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and served as an usher until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 infant children, 1 daughter, Carolyn Jean Rolling Pettigrew; 1 son, Gregory Carl Rolling, Sr., 4 sisters, Levera Guster, Ruthie Tucker, Brucine Johnson, and Arlister Harper.

Survivors include 2 sons, John (Frankie) Rolling and Timothy Rolling; 2 daughters, Marilyn Rolling and Nettie Brown, all of Tyler, Texas; 1 brother, Calvin (Doris) Washington, Houston, TX; 1 sisterin-law, Mardell Barnes, in addition to her special granddaughter, Cassandra Rolling; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 – 7 :00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Community Funeral Home of Tyler Chapel.
