Faith symposium ‘Why Church?’ set Oct. 28 in Kilgore

A faith symposium, “Why Church?” is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 28 in the Devall Student Center Ballroom on the campus of Kilgore College, 1116 Broadway Blvd.

Glenn Young, senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Kilgore, will give an opening remarks. A panel of ministers will then speak on the topic.

The speakers will include the Rev. Ben Bagley, of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, the Rev. Dr. Jayson Galler, of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, and the Rev. Will Wilson, of First Presbyterian Church.

The discussion will be moderated by Terry Booker of Kilgore College.

INSPIRATIONALS CONCERT



The Inspirationals Quartet is scheduled to perform in Mabank at Central Baptist Church, 116 W. Mount Vernon St., at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10.
